Episode 8x1 Osmosis by Michelle Kiefer	Mulder and Scully investigate a rash of violent crimes and meet a man who cannot speak and the young woman who can hear him.
Episode 8x2 Pepper by David Hearne	Mulder and Scully are sent to investigate a werewolf in a small Alabama town. Along the way they encounter a deadly werewolf hunter and the best chili in the South.
Episode 8x3 Imperial Violet by Khyber	A fairly routine autopsy by Scully and a fellow pathologist puts them at risk when they uncover a very nasty surprise. Mulder and the Gunmen, very concerned for Scully, must try to find out what the "surprise" is -- exactly -- and what they can do to counter it.
Episode 8x4 Good-Night by Rocketman	The cemetery is dark. A child's cry echoes across the tombstones, originating from below the ground. She has been buried alive. Her premature burial opens the coffin on a conspiracy of grave proportions, revealing the machinations of a man who will stop at nothing to create a cure for the black oil virus. Mulder and Scully stumble blindly for answers as the Consortium eliminates its mistakes.
Episode 8x5 Shady Rest by Kestabrook	Mulder and Scully journey to an upstate NY town to solve a mystery -- is a ghost plaguing an old hotel?
Episode 8x6 Letters by Suzanne Bickerstaffe and Melody	A killer is stalking FBI agents, striking down those whom he feels are unworthy, and sending letters explaining his mission to A.D. Walter Skinner. When the next ingenious murder takes place right in the J. Edgar Hoover Building, Skinner feels Mulder may be the next target, and sends him and his partner to a safe house to profile the killer. But the violence escalates, affecting all of them, and only Mulder, Scully and an old acquaintance can bring the killings to an end.

Episode 8x10 Ancient Mariner by Blackwood	Mulder and Scully investigate a series of kidnappings, with overtones of alien abduction. They travel to Sag Harbor on the East End of Long Island and visit the latest abductee at the hospital. Mulder believes there is a preternatural connection in spite of the fact that some of the facts don't jive with the typical alien abduction scenario, like the victims all being found at the water's edge, nearly drowned.
Episode 8x11 The Man Who Would Be King by Jess	Mulder and Scully investigate their first Elvis sighting, and end up questioning nature vs. nurture.
Episode 8x12 Detente by Xenith	Mulder's thirty-ninth birthday arrives on an unhappy note when he finds himself forced to listen to what CSM has been waiting to tell him and to depend on the man for survival.
Episode 8x13 Into the Woods by XScout	Drawn into the forest to investigate the disappearance of five hikers in what may be a case of alien abduction, Mulder and Scully are caught in the middle of a life and death fight to find the abductees and get out of the woods -- alive.
Episode 8x14 Freak by Ursula Luxem	Is it possible one man can be cursed? Or do we make our own fate by expecting -- and eventually receiving -- the worst from ourselves?
Episode 8x15 The Red Queen by KatyBlue	Mulder and Scully investigate a thirty year old cold case involving a once prominent virologist and the theft of materials from a Department of Defense laboratory. Finding that the doctor lives in their area, they attempt to close the case, but discover that the doctor's viral research might not have ended after all.
Episode 8x16 Sigil by HLynn	A cryptic sigil is carved on the chests of a murderer's victims, causing Mulder and Scully to investigate whether the suspect is familiar with the occult, or another victim of the symbol's power.
Episode 8x17 Snowman by CinyET	Mulder and Scully travel to the remote town of Caribou Corners, Maine, to investigate the chilling death of 10th-grader Danny Davis. The murder weapon? An icicle. The motive? Unknown. The killer? Depends on whom you ask. Some believe he's human. Some claim he's a legendary man of snow. The one thing everyone agrees on: he's going to kill again.
Episode 8x18 Your Past is Showing by Jo-Ann Lassiter	When Scully and Mulder travel to Newark, New Jersey to assist A.D. Skinner with a case, Mulder discovers that he and Skinner had previously been assigned to the same case there ten years earlier. While Mulder's recollection of the case is somewhat hazy, Skinner's is all too clear.
Episode 8x19 The Eyes of Texas by Laurie D. Haynes and Katvictory	Mulder and Scully go to Galveston, Texas during Mardi Gras to investigate sightings of a Civil War ghost ship. They take the time to enjoy the festivities and Mulder takes the opportunity to try to get closer to Scully.
Episode 8x20 Volatile by Debra Longley	Mulder and Scully are part of a law enforcement team accompanying a convicted serial killer to the grave of one of his victims, setting in motion his deadly plan of revenge.
Episode 8x21 Cold Hands, Warm Heart by I Want To Believe	Someone is murdering people in Philadelphia and mutilating the bodies, which are left frozen solid. Mulder and Scully are called in to investigate the grisly case.
Episode 8x22 Inversus by LoneGunGuy	"It seems very pretty," Alice said when she had finished it, "but it's rather hard to understand! Somehow it seems to fill my head with ideas -- only I don't know exactly what they are! However, somebody killed something: that's clear, at any rate -- "
Episode 8x23 God's Country by Joylynn Wing	Mulder and Scully return to the woods once more in order to investigate the disappearance of a family of three in Maine.
Episode 8x24 Bete Noire by Laurie D. Haynes, Laura Castellano and Katvictory	There's a legend of a monster in the swamps along the Texas-Louisiana border. According to the National Enquirer, the monster has mated with humans and its offspring terrorize the small town bordering the river and its swamps.
Episode 8x25 Trolling by Vickie Moseley and Susan Proto	The partners investigate a case of a missing child and run into a couple of obstacles along the way.
Episode 8x26 Roller Rink by Cecily Sasserbaum	Vanishing competitive roller skaters. Ambitious reporters. Civil War reenactments gone bad. And agents on wheels. Where will it all end?
Episode 8x27 Moonlight Becomes You by Jamie Greco	Mulder and Scully investigate a house along the coast of Michigan where a number of men have disappeared over the last fifty years without a trace of foul play.
Episode 8x28 Closed Colony, Special Stock by Branwell	A body is found in a top secret area on an Air Force Base. No one knows the cause of death, or why the dead woman was in a secured area. The Air Force officer in charge makes a last ditch effort to prevent the project from being closed down. He uses his clout to get the FBI to send Mulder and Scully to investigate. Scully finds she knows the right questions to ask--but how?
Episode 8x29 My Name is Paul by Daydreamer	Skinner is dead -- or is he? Mulder and Scully's investigation into his death brings them up against still unseen enemies, who conspire to control them all.
Episode 8x30 Devil's Advocate by Vickie Moseley & Susan Proto	Mulder's involvement in a case may be his undoing.
